Haley and Loyd started in 1982 by Muskogee natives, Mike Haley and John Loyd. Loyd left the business in 1985, leaving it to be solely owned by Haley. The business is now operated by owner Mike Haley and employees, Keifer Arnold, and Parker Harris.
